• Volunteer Information Center
  Promote and distribute information about a wide range of volunteer opportunities in nonprofit agencies, schools and community organizations.

• Board Services

• Training and Consultation
  Offers consultation and training workshops throughout the year on volunteer development and management and professional development for volunteer managers, executive directors and nonprofit staff.

• Disaster Services
  Manage countywide or local Disaster Volunteer Reception Center following a disaster. Provide consultation and training to volunteer community groups in organizing for disaster response.

• Marin Volunteer Manager’s Coalition
  Group for professionals who manage volunteers in nonprofits. Provides opportunities for training, professional development and cooperative projects. Other groups include executive directors, consultants, and development directors.

Annual Special Events:

• Human Race
  Annual May run/walkathon raises funds for Marin Nexus and for 100 other local nonprofit organizations.

• Marin Designers Showcase
  Each year, a beautiful Marin home is decorated by interior designers and landscapers, then opened to the public as a three-week-long fundraising event. Produced by an auxiliary of 100+ women.

• Volunteer Recognition Event
  Annual “Heart of Marin” honors Marin Volunteer of the Year, Executive of the Year, Board Leader of the Year, Marin Nonprofit of the Year and Youth Volunteers of the Year.
